有机热载体是作为传热介质使用的有机物质的统称,分矿物型和合成型两大类。上世纪初,随着化学工业的发展,传统的以水为传热介质的加热方法已无法满足新型工业工艺的要求。20世纪30年代美国Dow化学公司研制的化学品(联苯一联苯醚混合物)在加热系统中的成功应用,标志着一类新的商业化产品合成型有机热载体的问世。但因其渗透压强,气味难闻,凝固点高(12℃)等缺点而使其应用受到限制。
Organic heat carrier is used as a heat transfer medium collectively referred to as organic matter, mineral and synthetic two sub-categories. Early last century, with the development of the chemical industry, the traditional heating method using water as the heat transfer medium has been unable to meet the requirements of the new industrial process. The successful application of the chemical (biphenyl-diphenylether mixture) developed by the Dow Chemical Company in the 1930s in the heating system marks the advent of a new type of commercial organic heat carrier. However, its application is limited because of its osmotic pressure, unpleasant smell and high freezing point (12 ℃).
