“化学控制”是利用极微量的生理活性物质,调节控制作物生长发育的重要手段,也是现代农业生产的主要生物措施之一,具有投资少、见效快,操作简便等特点,随着农村产业结构的变革,传统的劳动密集型势必要向高度知识型的方向转变,因此,深入开展“化控”技术的研究与开发应用,更趋迫切。不少国家已把“化控”技术列为现代农业发展的三大突破口之一,作为优先开发的科学技术项目。针对我省广大棉区普遍存在的“高、大、空”株型结构、脱落、烂桃、晚熟、品质下降等问题,经过六年(1979~1984)年来的试验研究,在揭示棉花生育规律及“化控”物质的基本生理效应与复合效应的基础上,设计出一套辩证施治、瞻前顾后、综合保证的配套“化控”措施,收到了显著的效果,为我省棉花高产、优质与早熟闯出了新路。
