二项式定理是初等数学中的一个重要定理,其形成过程是组合知识的应用,同时也是进一步学习概率统计的准备知识,在微积分、概率论、初等数论等许多数学分支中都可见其踪影,是高等数学中许多重要公式的共同基础。在有些的数学运算过程中,如果直接计算,则会使计算量增大且容易出错,而利用二项式定理来解则会使计算量降低,提高运算的效率,增加准确率。
