SDH属于一种传输体制,它的主要功能是传输数以及其他功能。它有两大优势:一是和当今日益流行发达的智能网络技术结合;二是能够依靠光纤传输技术。但随着时代的发展,老旧的SDH设备跟不上时代的脚步而显得运作吃力,更重要的是无法更好地满足客户的需要进行很好的工作。目前本地传输网络SDH存在着部分超期、故障率高、维护成本高等一系列问题。于是采取SDH传输设备退网的措施,大致分为做好新资源配备的分配工作、按步骤有次序地提交电路资源调整申请、做好线缆的布发以及测试工作、测试完成后提交电路割接申请,业务使用部门确认好坏、客户衔接反馈以及后期处理六个步骤。
