日本五彩樱桃椒是日本鹿儿岛园艺所培育的辣椒新品种,近几年引入我国,此椒在南方为多年生,在北方为一年生,但温度在零上12℃左右也能生长开花结实,五彩樱桃椒品种我国河南省永城县、灵宝县、商丘市等地区也有少量地方传统樱桃椒品种分布,但其果实较小,产量低,故推广前途不大。日本五彩樱桃椒是我所于1990年12月从中国农业生态研究会引进我区,并在华北地区种植栽培获得成功。日本五彩樱桃椒植株高50～80
