中国传统德治文化与人性论有着非常密切的关系,中国古代人性论及其善恶问题构成了中国传统德治文化的内在根据,具体而言,孔子的“性近习远”说是德治文化的人性论前提,孟子的“人性善”为实行德治提供了可能性,荀子的“人性恶”则揭示了实行德治的必要性。唐镜先生在《德治中国——中国古代德治思想论纲》一书中提出孔子的“人性可塑”思想是中国传统德治文化的理论基石,为我们进一步从人性论角度清理和挖掘中国传统文化特别是德治文化提供了一种新的视角和线索。
