《义务教育英语课程标准(2011年版)》强调培养学生的综合语言运用能力。语言知识的呈现和学习都应从语言使用的角度出发,为提升学生“用英语做事情”的能力服务。篇章阅读教学是培养学生综合语言能力的重要途径。课程标准中对阅读技能教学的描述是:“乐于认读所学词语,阅读小故事和短文,养成按意群阅读的习惯,逐步形成语言。”在篇章阅读教学中,读前、读中和读后是三个主要环节,能否根据各环节的教学目标设计合理有效的教学活动,决定了篇章教学的成败。然
Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standard (2011 Edition) “emphasizes the cultivation of students’ comprehensive language proficiency. The presentation and learning of language knowledge should be from the perspective of language use, in order to enhance students’ ability to do things in English. Text reading teaching is an important way to train students’ comprehensive language ability. Curriculum standards for reading skills teaching is described as: ”willing to read the words learned, reading stories and essays, to develop the habit of reading in groups, and gradually form a language."
