C streptococci generally cause animal infections, but also caused a small number of human infections reported. It was pointed out that the group C streptococcus disease caused by group A streptococcus disease caused by 1/6. It is therefore generally accepted that group C streptococci cause serious infections, especially bacteremia, endocarditis and meningitis are rare. Cherubin and New observed 656 cases of infectious endocarditis, were found not caused by C streptococci. Mohr and his aides examined 150,000 blood cultures and found 8 patients were C streptococcal infections. C group Streptococcus has also been reported to cause meningitis and cellulitis, and has been shown to cause nephritis. In the week of January 1979, three strains of C-streptococci were isolated from the blood cultures of three serious patients. One case was meningitis and the other two cases were endocarditis and persistent bacteremia. The first patient is a 66-year-old businessman
