建构主义学习理论,作为认知学习理论的一个重要分支——在西方逐渐流行。该理论流派纷呈,对教学和学习理念有着重大的影响,强调学习是不断建构的过程,认为语言的获得也是学习者根据过去的知识积极主动建构的结果。建构主义学习理论对传统意义上的学习和教学理论提出了挑战,并为当前我国大学英语教学改革和素质教育提供了重要的理论依据。
Constructivist learning theory, as an important branch of cognitive learning theory, is gaining popularity in the West. This theory has many schools of thought, which have a great influence on the teaching and learning concepts. It emphasizes that learning is a process of continuous construction, and that the acquisition of language is also the result of learners’ constructive construction based on past knowledge. Constructivism learning theory poses challenges to the traditional learning and teaching theories and provides important theoretical basis for the current college English teaching reform and quality education.
