At the invitation of World Wildlife Foundation Hong Kong Chapter (WWF-HK) and Changchun Club of Hong Kong, the author observed the annual bird watching record competition in Hong Kong. Before the arrival of Hong Kong, my understanding of it was merely a TV screen or picture introduction. Hong Kong in my mind was only a bustling metropolis. I never thought that as soon as I set foot on the land in Hong Kong, not only the tall buildings and bustling markets that greeted me, but the more affluent mountainous areas, were beyond my expectation.
