高準以蔑视“政治挂帅”的人士自居,强烈反对《台湾当代新诗史》中加入反独促统内容。把政治妖魔化,把文学史的自主性等同于非政治性,是一个常识性错误。在乡土文学论战中受过余光中伤害的高準,对余光中有很深的成见和偏见,这影响了他对余光中文学成就的客观评价。关于“余光中热”在大陆的形成,决不是如高準所言自上而下出自于统战部门的指示,而是出于广大读者对余光中作品的艺术性和思想性的认同,是自下而上产生。究其原因,主要是余光中本人的艺术成就所使然。
