湖北作为一个以内需为主的生产大省和消费大省,消费品市场始终是直接反映整个国民经济运行状况的重要因素。1999年湖北省制定经济发展的预期目标为10%左右,比全国经济发展的预期目标7%左右高3个百分点。实现这一预期目标,必须把扩大内需作为经济增长的立足点,千方百计扩大国内需求,开拓国内市场,立足于发挥湖北自身优势,促进国民经济的持续快速发展。 Hubei, as a major production-oriented province and a major consumer province with domestic demand as the mainstay, has always been an important factor that directly reflects the entire national economy. In 1999, the expected goal of formulating economic development in Hubei Province was about 10%, which is 3% higher than the expected target of economic development of about 7% in China. To achieve this expected goal, we must expand domestic demand as the starting point for economic growth, do everything possible to expand domestic demand and open up the domestic market. We should base ourselves on making full use of Hubei’s own advantages to promote the sustained and rapid development of the national economy.
