近几年,我国中等学校普遍重视了外语教学,中学外语教学水平逐步提高。现在重点中学毕业生掌握的英语词汇量最高已达3.600个,平均也有1,800个。最近几年学生掌握的词汇量逐年增加。外语学校和少数重点学校在外语教学中基本上做到了听、说、读,写全面发展,有些学生还可以自如地参加国际交往活动。近两年在外语教学科研方面也有发展,华东师范大学负责的全国中学英语调查结果就是一项很重要的科研成果,对改进我国中学英语教学提供了许多信息。但是,现在中学外语教学方面还存在较多的问题。中学外语教师学历合格的只占27.6%,多数学校外语教学质量不高。升入高校的学生一般都还要花很多时间学习第一外语。现在中学开设外语的语种
In recent years, foreign language teaching has been generally emphasized in secondary schools in our country, and the level of foreign language teaching in secondary schools has been gradually raised.
