Students entering high school are generally about 15 years old and have accumulated a lot of life experience in their lives for more than a decade. They cannot be ignored in physics teaching. There are usually two kinds of student life experience. One is the correct reflection of objective reality in the minds of students. This is a truly useful experience. It is undoubtedly beneficial to physics teaching. You can use them to clarify some concepts and laws, and you can also avoid unnecessary demonstration experiments. For example, with regard to the problem of the linear propagation of light in homogenous homogeneous media, students are experienced. Students see that the light emitted by the movie projector is straight forward. Sunlight enters the indoor light beam from the outdoors along the gap between doors and windows and is straight forward. Therefore, as long as the teacher sums up the students’ existing experience, it can be concluded that “light is transmitted in a straight line in the same kind of media.” There is no need to use smokeboxes and other experiments to demonstrate light.
