Developing Disciplinary Thinking Exploring the Nature of Teaching Building a Classroom Follow the new curriculum reform emphasizes more on the development of academic literacy. At the core of the development of academic literacy is the development of disciplinary thinking. Therefore, it is self-evident to study, construct and practice thinking teaching to build the value of thinking class. In order to promote the development of middle school chemistry classroom teaching to promote students’ thinking and create a thinking classroom, we jointly held the first session of “First National Conference of New Thinking and Thinking of Chemistry Thinking and Practice Achievements Exchange and Training” in 2012. The conference aroused strong repercussions of the majority of chemical teachers, formed a continuous closure of the chemical thinking class
