文化可界定为狭义与广义文化,广义的文化是人类创造出来的所有物质和精神财富的总和,这其中便囊括了设计的造物活动。设计与文化存在互动关系诉求以“文化观”的视角来审视现代设计教育。传统文化与现代文化、未来文化是三种不同形态的文化。传统文化应纳入设计教育体系,成为课程体系必需基础与必要环节;现代与未来文化应成为设计教育核心内容与关注对象。构建基于“文化观”的设计教育模式目标在于寻找一条适合中国特色的设计道路。 Culture can be defined as narrow and broad culture, which is the sum of all the material and spiritual wealth created by human beings.
