写作是大学英语教学中一项十分重要的技能。中国学生英语写作中遇到的困难,除了语言层面上的,还有更深层面上的原因——源于中西思维模式的差异。本文首先简要分析了思维和语言的关系,进而阐述了中西思维模式的主要差异及其在写作中对语篇宏观结构和微观结构的影响,最后论述一些启示,提出几点建议,希望大学教师在教学过程中注意培养学生的这种意识并加强训练,为写作教学开辟一条新路。
Writing is a very important skill in college English teaching. The difficulties encountered by Chinese students in writing English, in addition to the language level, have a deeper reason - from the differences between Chinese and Western modes of thinking. This paper first briefly analyzes the relationship between thinking and language, and then elaborates the main differences between Chinese and Western modes of thinking and its impact on the macro-structure and micro-structure of the discourse in writing. Finally, it expounds some enlightenments and puts forward some suggestions. In the teaching process, we should pay attention to cultivate students’ awareness and training and open up a new path for writing teaching.
