本文基于多年声波探测等试验，认为有必要、也可以利用纵波速（Vp）对衡阳市红砂岩风化程度进行分类，提出了分类Vp值指标，并对单轴极限抗压强度（Ra）与Vp进行了相关分析．
Based on years of sounding tests and other tests, it is considered necessary to classify the weathered degree of red sandstone in Hengyang City by means of longitudinal velocity (Vp). The Vp value classification index is put forward and the uniaxial ultimate compressive strength (Ra) and Vp Related analysis was conducted.
