提高中学历史教学质量,决定于教师的教课质量,也决定于历史课本的好坏。有合适的课本,对教师改进教学和提高学生的学习效果都会有很大的便利。解放以来,高级中学中国历史课一直没有合适的课本可用。过去曾一度把范文澜同志编著的中国通史简编缩编作为代用课本,暂时供教学使用。范著中国通史简编,确实是一部力作。但是缩编之后,作为中学历史课本来用,显然有好多不适宜的地方。教师难教,学生难学,用过那本书的教师们,都有深刻的体会。因此,几年来中学教师们渴望能有一本好的高中中国历史课本编写出来。
Improving the quality of history teaching in middle schools depends on the quality of teachers’ teaching and also on the quality of history textbooks. Therefore, secondary school teachers have long aspired to have a good high school Chinese history textbook compiled over the years.
