Heart failure is the ultimate cause of most cardiovascular diseases and leads to increased mortality, the current treatment has limitations and can not achieve the purpose of cure. Recent studies have found that microRNAs (miRNAs) are involved in the physiological and pathological processes of the heart and play an important role in promoting cardiomyocyte dysplasia and ventricular remodeling and cardiac hypertrophy, leading to heart failure. MiRNAs are a class of endogenous, non-coding small RNAs that have the negative biological function of regulating gene expression. From gene level (miRNAs) treatment of heart failure, that is, inhibition of miRNAs target genes and change miRNAs expression and other methods is a major breakthrough.
