棉花育种的生物技术当前主要在细胞工程与基因工程两方面获得了较显著的进展,通过细胞工程创造出了一种新的种质材料,利用基因工程对棉花抗病虫害以及抗除草剂等育种得到了很大的成功,获得的新品种也已经投入到了商品化的生产之中,对我国的棉花生产创造了有利条件,在今后的发展中应该实现生物技术的更加完善的发展与应用,促进棉花育种工作的良好进步。
