众所周知,广告收入是传统媒体最主要的收入来源,广告收入的多少与品牌影响力、读者数量等一起,成为衡量一家媒体地位高低的重要指标。综合性门户网站同样如此。搜狐公司2003年广告收入达到2950万美元,同比增长了113%,按照以往国内传统纸媒体广告年收入的数字对比,搜狐的广告收入已经进入前十名。不仅如此,在搜狐公司的预期中,搜狐2004年广告收入将达到5000万美元,其增长速度远远高于传统媒体。这是搜狐公司2月3公布的其2003年第四季度及全年财务报告显示的数据。财报显示,搜狐去年全年营收达到8040万美元,同比增长180%,净利润达到创纪录的2640万美元,每股净收益高达66美分。值得一提的是,搜狐第四季度营收2460万美元、同比增长133%,已经是连续第14个季度实现收入双位数增长。
