显示器是通过视觉器官给人提供信息的装置,是人机对活、人机联系的一种手段。因此,它理所当然地与人的心理特点有密切关系。实际上,显示器的一些参数,虽然可以用仪器检测,但是,最后的仲裁往往是人的感受器官。例如一个显示器的亮度究竟多高合适?对比度以多大为好等等,常要通过人的视觉活动的实验数据来决定。显示器显示的信息如果能见度好,人就容易发现,清晰度好就容易看清,易懂度好信息就容易形成正确的观念,因而看得快,读得准。这些既是显示技术的问题,也是心理学的问题。本文将简要地介绍几个视觉显示技术中这类心理学问题,即所谓显示技术的人的因素(human factor)问题。
