Many patients require an enema before radiography can be performed on X-rays. After all, what is the condition of the enema? What is the effect of the lavage? How can we wash it so that the photos can meet the diagnostic requirements? To understand these problems, let’s review the anatomy and physiology of the large intestine. The average length of the large intestine about 1.5-2 meters, starting from the terminal ileum of the small intestine, cecum, appendix, ascending colon, transverse colon, descending colon, sigmoid colon, rectum and anus and other parts. Shaped like a question number “?” (See photo), the right and the liver, gallbladder and other internal organs are similar, so called liver or right song, left and spleen close, said spleen or left song. Ascending and descending colon are in front of the left kidney. In front of the rectum uterus (female), seminal vesicle, prostate (male) and bladder.
