The Asian Society for Molecular Biology organized a conference in Kyoto, Japan, in December of 81, entitled “The Future of Nucleic Acid Research.” The focus is on the discussion of the essential DNA of genes. The conference published many research papers on cancer and cellular immunity. Dr. Weigura extracted genes that are presumed to be bladder cancer from human bladder cancer cells. Although the role of this DNA has not yet been clarified, it will open a gap for studying cancer at the genetic level. Carcinogenicity of animals is often caused by the presence of oncogenes in normal cells, which may start cancerously. The current research on human cancer will also target genes. Of course, cancer cannot be considered a genetic disease.
