垂体腺瘤为最常见的的颅内肿瘤之一,其发病率仅次于神经胶质瘤及脑膜瘤,占脑瘤的10%以上,蝶鞍及其附近瘤的1/2—2/3。嗜酸细胞腺瘤则占垂体瘤的1/4左右。此瘤在病理上虽属良性,但可引起严重的内分泌功能紊乱和视神经受压症状,一部份病人还有颅压增加的症状。有关嗜酸细胞腺瘤的放射治疗,国内文献尚无报导。本文分析本院5年来采用放射治疗的25例。本组25例中,男性占11例,女性14例。全部病例均有不同程度的内分泌紊乱、胶端肥大及或多或少的头痛、视力视野改变等压迫症状。全部病例经颅骨 X 线检查,均有蝶鞍的改变。颅压明显增加者只2例,对25例皆作常规的视野及神经系统检查,对大多数均进行了基础代谢及血糖耐量的检查。X 线治疗:物理条件为180—200KV,0.5或1.0毫米铜加10毫米铝过滤,焦皮距离50毫米。绝大多数用两颞野及额前野,各4×4厘米至6×6厘米,
Pituitary adenomas are one of the most common intracranial tumors. Their incidence is second only to gliomas and meningiomas, accounting for more than 10% of brain tumors and 1/2–2/3 of sellar tumors and nearby tumors. . The eosinophil adenoma accounts for about 1/4 of the pituitary tumor. Although this tumor is benign in pathology, it can cause severe endocrine disorders and optic nerve compression symptoms. Some patients also have symptoms of increased intracranial pressure. Radiotherapy for eosinophil adenomas has not been reported in the country. This article analyzes 25 cases of radiation therapy in our hospital over the past five years. Of the 25 patients in this group, 11 were males and 14 were females. All cases had varying degrees of endocrine disorders, mastoid hypertrophy and more or less headache, vision vision changes and other symptoms of oppression. All cases underwent X-ray examination of the skull and all had changes in sella. Only 2 patients with a significant increase in intracranial pressure were included in the routine examination of the visual field and nervous system in 25 cases, and basal metabolism and glucose tolerance were examined in most cases. X-ray treatment: physical conditions are 180-200KV, 0.5 or 1.0mm copper plus 10mm aluminum filter, focal distance 50mm. The vast majority use two wilderness fields and frontal fields, each 4 x 4 cm to 6 x 6 cm.
