光子生物学和光子医学是用光子来研究生命的新兴交叉学科，近几年来蓬勃发展，成为国际光学界和生物医学界广泛关注的热点。第６届全国光子生物学和光子医学学术研讨会于１９９９ 年７月２７日至８月２ 日在昆明召开。会议展示了我国在光与生物组织的相互作用、光生物医学检测、光子生物医学临床应用、光子动力学效应和生物化学效应、生物组织发光、光子生物医学工程等诸多研究领域所取得的重要进展
Photon biology and photon medicine are the emerging interdisciplinary disciplines that use photons to study life. They have thrived in recent years and become a hot spot of widespread concern in the international and biomedical communities. The 6th National Photon Biology and Photon Medicine Symposium was held in Kunming from July 27 to August 2, 1999. The meeting demonstrated important advances in many fields such as the interaction between light and biological tissues, photobiological testing, clinical application of photonic biomedicine, photodynamic and biochemical effects, luminescence of biological tissues, and photon biomedical engineering
