苗族是纳雍县境内一个历史悠久的民族,明清以来,纳雍苗族的活动情况开始出现在汉文献资料中,但是纳雍苗族的历史来源,在本民族的口述传说中却十分久远,大约在唐宋时期从川南迁徙到达纳雍开疆僻壤,成为这片土地的主人,历经一千多年和多次战事,苗族在纳雍的发展形成了四大支系,分布不一,文化表象有所不同但核心文化却高度统一的现象。 Miao is a long-standing nationality in Nayong County.
