我国北部高寒地区气候冷凉,无霜期短,作物种植单一,由于缺乏合理的轮作体系,造成地力逐年减退,产量不高。为了发展高寒地区的农业生产,当前急需增添超早熟的各种农作物新品种。为了把谷子向高纬度地区推进,我所与有关部门密切协作,在高寒地区对超早熟谷子新品种龙谷26进行了联合试验和开发工作,经过三年多点试验和大面积示范栽培,证明龙谷26品种具有超早熟、耐寒的特点,适于在高寒地区栽培。龙谷26在高寒地区种植面积已达2.83万亩,该品种的试种成功,已经把我国谷子栽培北限由北纬50°推进到北纬53°29′,向北延伸385公里,为发展高寒地区的农业生产增加了一个新作物,对改变当地的粮食结构也将起到积极作用,龙谷26在高寒地区具有广泛的发展前景。

Longgu26 has broad prospects for development in the alpine region.
