信息社会的进步和医院现代化管理的需求，拓展了医院计算机信息系统的应用。理论上，医院投资建设信息系统应是以病人信息为中心的医院信息系统建设。本文结合中山医科大学肿瘤医院１９９３～１９９６年初完成的以病人为中心的医院信息系统的研究及网络投入使用经验，探讨了医院信息系统的效益并对其进行了分析和评价
The advancement of the information society and the need for modern hospital management have expanded the application of hospital computer information systems. In theory, the hospital investment and construction information system should be based on patient information as the center of the hospital information system construction. This paper combines the experience of hospital-centered hospital information system research and network deployment experience completed at the Cancer Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences between 1993 and early 1996. It discusses the benefits of the hospital information system and analyzes and evaluates it.
