在蘑菇制种中采用麦粒作培养基是今后蘑菇菌种生产的趋向.其配方:麦粒93%、石膏粉4%、碳酸钙2%、谷壳1%.采用二次发酵法种菇装瓶时,麦粒含水量为42~52%,采用旧法堆料种菇装瓶时,含水量为47~52%.麦粒含水量=湿重-烘干后重/湿重×100%(麦粒生理含水量为14%计)在适宜含水量的麦粒里均匀拌进石膏粉、碳酸钙和谷壳,然后装至瓶高的4/5左右.在瓶内培养基上方用适量牛粪粉拌谷壳压面约2厘米、塞好棉塞.在高压灭菌锅中以15公斤/平方厘米灭菌2小时.待冷却后接入原种.在25℃左右,培养1个月,备用.
