翻译教学的目的是让学生通过系统的翻译理论和技巧的学习，将学生置于翻译活动中领会其动力，领会将一种语言中的内容转移到另一种语言中去的思维过程。通过学生在翻译实践中所犯错误的分析提醒翻译教师在翻译教学的同时也要注意教材的处理，注意扩大学生的知识面，努力通过翻译教学这一手段使学生学会思索，思索如何把别人的想法忠实地表达出来。
The purpose of translation teaching is to enable students to understand their motivation through systematic translation theories and techniques, to place students in translation activities and to understand the thinking process of transferring content from one language to another. Through the analysis of the mistakes made by students in translation practice, teachers should be reminded that translators should pay attention to teaching materials while translating them.
