The mining of the Divrui deposit in central Anatolia began in 1938. Until 1973, the beneficiation only included the crushing and grading of ore mines and sinter mines. In the 1970s, the Turkish steel industry expanded its production and put forward higher quality requirements for concentrates: concentrates containing lump ore and sinter should have a ferrous content of at least 62% -63% and iron content of at least 65% -66 % Pellets with concentrate. In order to provide these products, a concentrator was designed and constructed. For the technical design of the concentrator, about 20 sub-ore samples were studied by the German research company Studiengesellschaft fur Eisenerzaufbereitung in laboratory and batch tests. According to the research results, we can formulate the process flow and obtain the required product. Thereafter, a semi-industrial test was conducted with a larger number of mineral samples to confirm the proposed process, obtain the information needed for the design of the industrial-scale beneficiation plant and provide the concentrate for the metallurgical test.
