道德品质,又称为品德,是指个人根据社会一定的道德准则和规范行为时表现出来的稳定的心理特征和倾向。①《礼记·中庸》记载:“知仁勇三者,天下之达德也。”可以说,良好的道德品质不仅是国家社会对个人的期望和要求,也是个体自身健康成长的内在需求。尤其是高中生,是国家的未来和希望。但高中思想政治课程在实际操作过程中所展现出的德育功能与其应有的功能相距甚远。
