中学数学教学大綱(修訂草案)說明的几何部分中明确規定:“几何教学的目的,在于系統地研究平面圖形和空間圖形的性質,並且应用这些性質解計算題和作圖題;在于發展学生的邏輯思惟和空間想像力;並且使他們能够运用所学到的知識來解决实际問題”。在說明中同时还指出:“在初中二年級和三年級的几何教学,应当更多地以直观为基礎,……但是不应当忘記学生智力的工作,特別是發展他們的邏輯思惟的工作”。由此可見在几何教学中,不僅应該給予学生以知識,培养学生应用知識的技能和熟練技巧,而且还应該注意發展学生的邏輯思惟。
The geometric part of the secondary school mathematics syllabus (revised draft) clearly states: “The purpose of geometry teaching is to systematically study the nature of plane graphics and spatial graphics, and apply these properties to solve computational and mapping problems; Logical thinking and spatial imagination; and enabling them to use the knowledge they have learned to solve practical problems.” In the explanation, it is also pointed out that “Geometry teaching in the second and third grades of junior high school should be based more on intuitiveness...but we should not forget the work of students’ intelligence, especially the development of their logical thinking”. This shows that in the teaching of geometry, students should not only be given knowledge, skills and skills to develop students’ application of knowledge, but also should pay attention to the development of students’ logical thinking.
