In the past 30 years, China has begun to emerge internationally. At the same time, it is a revolution that has swept the global architectural culture - the digital revolution. This revolution has changed almost all of the world’s architects, research institutes and schools. The massive technological innovations in the construction industry and in building education are an immense challenge to our generation - the theoretical, cultural and sociological implications of these new computerized practices. The task of contemporary architects is not merely to embrace ubiquitous technology but also to examine the extent to which new approaches can help us reflect on the persistence of the design industry in a given culture.
