语言学家认为,语法是语言发生作用的框架,是掌握和运用语言的先决条件。语法能力是语言实践能力的前提,它帮助学习者理解和创造口头或书面的话语。正确的语法能力会促进学生实际的语言运用能力。而脱离语境的语法教学容易造成语言形式与意义的分离,不利于培养学生的语言能力。本文结合语境理论,提出大学英语语法教学应该将抽象的语法规则转化为具体的语言事实,在教学中根据具体的教学内容及其特点设计不同的情景语境,在语境中使语法知识的形式、功能和意义达到和谐的统一,从而从根本上解决学生语法知识的灵活使用问题。
Linguists believe that grammar is the language of the role of the framework is to grasp and use of language prerequisites. Grammar competence is a prerequisite for language practice, which helps learners understand and create verbal or written discourse. Correct grammar ability will promote students’ practical ability in language use. However, the context-free grammar teaching tends to cause the separation of language forms and meanings, which is not conducive to cultivating students’ language ability. Based on the theory of context, this paper proposes that college English grammar teaching should translate abstract grammatical rules into specific linguistic facts, design different contexts of context according to specific teaching contents and characteristics, and make grammatical knowledge Form, function and meaning to achieve the unity of harmony, so as to fundamentally solve the problem of students’ flexible use of grammar knowledge.
