郊区教育局与进修学校早在一九八一年就试点办了小学教师离职进修中师课程的培训班(以下简称中师班),八二年全郊区铺开,在各公社(现改为区公所,以下简称小区)都办了一个班,人数四十上下,期限两年,对象为未达中师水平的现任小学公、民办教师。教材用“广东省小学教师进修中等师范教材编写组”所编定的整套课本。这无疑是具有战略意义的一着,只有这样,才能从根本上解决师资素质与教育、教学的质量问题。 然而,这一创举并未为小区所有有关领导同志所理解,不少人反而觉得办中师班是个累赘。这也难怪,因为很多具体问题急需要妥善解决,而要妥善解决,又决非小区力所能及,非得教局与进修学校统筹不可。现就两年来所体会到的
