自1958年7月以来,安徽省各地相继开展了深耕改土的研究试验,供试作物有小麦、水稻、玉米、油菜、大豆和棉花,深耕的深度从0.6尺—5尺不等。据各地试验结果的报导,在一定深度的范围内加深耕作层如果能配合有关的其他农业技术措施,增产效果是显著的。如六安渒东大队耕深7寸的麦田比5寸的增产15.9%,凤阳农场深耕5寸的小麦为352斤,8.5寸的为421斤。灵璧县高楼公社用25亩玉米地进行深耕对比试验,深耕9寸的比5寸的增产66.4%,宣城县农场用油菜所做的试验表明,深耕1尺的此5寸的增产17.17%。淮南农区试验站的试验结果表明,若以板茬播种的大豆产量为100,则耕5寸深的增产64.8%,耕1尺的增产85.8%。生长在深耕地上的作物根系
Since July 1958, research trials on plowing and soil improvement have been carried out in various parts of Anhui Province. The tested crops include wheat, rice, corn, rape, soybean and cotton. The depth of deep plowing ranges from 0.6 ft to 5 ft.
