按设计中型肠镜工作长度仅100～110cm,大肠全长为150cm左右,因此只用于检查左侧结肠。我们在使用长型纤维结肠镜中发现,拉直肠镜时从肛门至脾曲一般为40cm左右,至肝曲为60cm左右,而至盲肠的距离只有70～90cm,因此,中型肠镜送达回盲部是可能的。为了探求用中型肠镜检查全结肠的方法,我们自1978年5月至1981年4月,3年间用日本Olympus厂生产的CF-MB型中型肠镜做全结肠检查337例次,除因客观原因中止检查的62例次(见附表)不计,在275例次中,送达回盲部完成全结肠检查的成功率达90.2％,其中57例次送至回肠末段。未达盲肠的
