This article analyzes the interpretations and performances of Shakespeare’s plays and the contexts of reception of the Shakespearean drama sourced from Lin Shu’s “Yinbian Yan” from 1907 to 1916. This shows that although no Shakespearean translation appeared during this period, Is also an early civilized play list system, and the audiences are more willing to accept Shakespearean episodes that are intrinsically similar to traditional Chinese traditional operas. However, the various elements of western drama implied by Shakespeare play an important role in all aspects of early civilized play Has an impact on the Chinese stage. Therefore, the author of this article believes that the translation and performance of Shakespeare plays during the civilized drama stage are the prerequisites for using the Chinese language to strictly follow the style of the western stage for the script translation and performance.
