There are many practical problems encountered with replacing oil with coal, such as the source and quality of coal, combustion methods and environmental pollution, product yield and quality requirements, equipment alteration and replacement, comprehensive benefits of energy utilization and so on. These problems are closely related to the thermal status of the coal burning in the kiln. It can be said that many of the problems with the substitution of coal for oil are decided by the latter. So to understand the thermal law of coal on behalf of the oil is very necessary, but also the most fundamental. Therefore, this paper analyzes and discusses several major problems that the coal substitute oil belongs to the thermal engineering and deduces the calculation formula.
