我在一所普通农村小学执教英语已多年,和其他同行一样,对农村小学的英语教学都有过这样的感受:农村小学的学生英语基础太差,学困生太多了,教材里所编写的内容对他们来说要求太高了。小学英语教育是整个英语教育的启蒙阶段,对实现学生的发展有着重要而深远的意义。但是由于农村孩子比较胆小,羞于说英语,农村小学的学生土生土长,从小受周围特定环境与家庭教育的影响,缺少自信心理,又害怕会说错被老师批评,并且易落于机械的条文背诵的俗套,长此使得部分英语学困生羞于说英语也不太敢说英语;另外农村缺少必要的语言学习
