AT & T and BT formally named their newly formed global joint venture Con-cert. Of the many candidates, the joint venture’s business users favor this name most, believing it effectively communicates the company’s corporate image and how it operates. David Duorman, chief executive of the joint venture, said: "Concert was originally BT, the name of a wholly-owned business unit that provides advanced communications services around the world.
