在电力拖动与控制系统中对电动机的选择主要根据生产机械(负载)的工艺要求及使用环境综合考虑。在选择了某个运动控制方案时,要确定的内容之一就是运动载荷的力学特性,一旦获得了该特性的物理数据我们就可以开始选择合适的电机和控制方案。电动机容量(即额定功率)选择原则是完全满足生产机械对电动机的功率、扭矩、转速及启动、调速、制动和过载等的要求,使电动机在运行中能够被充分利用,且其温升不致超过而是接近国家标准规定的温升。
