图书电教楼占地1600M~2,总建筑面积8240M~2。藏书40万册,其中20万册分布在专业开架阅览室中,乐谱、音响资料15万册,亦有相当一部份手稿、珍本和孤本,有1/3视听类服务项目,将采用计算机检索,图书馆建成后将成为华东地区音乐图书中心之一。上海音乐学院地处市中心,建设基地狭小,为结合地形,主楼沿汾阳路成三折,并有二个中庭空间相连,使主要用房在自然通风,自然采光 The library covers an area of ​​1,600 M~2 and a total construction area of ​​8,240 M~2.
