FOSS(Full Option Science System)是由美国国家科学基金会资助,旨在推进国家科学教育的三大科学教育项目——Insights、STC(Science and Technology for Children)、FOSS之一,由加洲大学劳伦斯科学馆开发。
FOSS (Full Option Science System) is funded by the National Science Foundation to promote the national science education three major science education programs - Insights, STC (Science and Technology for Children), FOSS, one by the University of California Lawrence Science Museum development. It is a set of science courses from kindergarten to eighth grade, providing a total of 36 scientific thematic units for research, from which people can choose what they need according to local curriculum standards. It incorporates the scientific results of brain science, cognitive science and artificial intelligence research, based on constructivism’s understanding of the nature of learning. This curriculum emphasizes on experience, emphasizes inquiry, emphasizes the participation of teachers and students, and emphasizes providing opportunities for students to construct scientific concepts through independent exploration and analysis and exchange. These ideas have many similarities with the concept of new curriculum reform in our country . This article is published in the FOSS water unit arranged student feedback training and unit evaluation questions, hoping to give our teaching of science to enlighten.
