记得少年时代,常常怀着好奇心到闹市钻进人堆里去看走江湖的玩把戏。那些玩把戏的每每在说完开场白,转入显本领的时候,便道:“光说不练,假把戏;光练不说,傻把戏;说着练着,真把戏。……”随着岁月的流逝,那时看了些什么把戏我差不多都忘却了,而那几句颇有节奏,也很有些趣味的话,却一直留在我的记忆里。如今正在研究如何提高语文教学的质量,我便又想起了那耍把戏的人所说的话。我想,我们中学语文教学,不应是“光说不练”的“假把戏”,也不应是“光练不说”的“傻把戏”,而应该是“说着练着”的“真把戏”——当然语文教学并不是“玩把戏”,这里不过是借此作个比方。
