新课改的纵深发展带动了初中历史教材的创新编写。相对于过去的教材,现如今的初中历史教材中融合了知识、趣味、生动等特点。开始以学生为中心来注重对插图数量、内容、种类的选用。插图从心理学的角度来说能够激发学生的求知兴趣,是推动历史教学的着手点,同时有助于渗透情感教育等等,具有很强的教育作用和价值。可以说,教材中的插图一方面有利于学生的发展;另一方面也是教师教学的最佳手段之一。
