美国教育家杜威曾指出,学校最大的浪费是学生接受一种脱离生活的教育。人民教育家陶行知先生也大力倡导生活教育理论。学校教育是为学生今后的生活做准备,生活化的学校教育才是有意义的教育,生活化的地理课堂才是有意义的地理课堂。一、初中地理教学存在的问题1.地理教学在多数学校普遍不受重视地理教学不受重视主要表现为:①课时安排少。相当一部分学校安排地理周课时为2个课时,1周只有两节课。②课表安排不合理。“主科”优先安排,然后才在空白处安排地理课,不考虑地理课的教学特点和规律。
